M&A - NEC Corporation - CSG Systems International

Japan-based technology firm NEC Corp. — which develops artificial intelligence, security and communications tools — intends to buy US tech company CSG Systems International for roughly $2.9 billion.  Colorado-headquartered CSG specializes in developing customer experience, billing and payment platforms. NEC is traded on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, while CSG is listed on NASDAQ.
