Technology - Data Privacy and Security - Aylo - Federal Trade Commission - Utah - Enforcement over

Aylo, operator of Pornhub and over 100 other porn sites, has settled claims by the US Federal Trade Commission and the Utah attorney general that it violated state and federal consumer protection laws by failing to prevent the hosting of child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and revenge porn and other non-consensual materials (NCM). The regulators also said Aylo failed to protect the privacy and security of personal data it uploaded to verify the age of performers on the site.
