Antitrust - ACCC civil lawsuit alleging mobile-crane cartel and attempted price fixing (Australia)

The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission has commenced civil cartel proceedings in the Federal Court of Australia targeting four mobile-crane hire companies in Sydney: Borger Crane Hire & Rigging Services; MCR Melrose; Two Way Cranes; Ultra-Lift Cranes. Also named in the lawsuit are four company executives. The four individuals named are: Borger Cranes General Manager Shawn Borger; Melrose Cranes former Managing Director Gregg Melrose and former General Manager Ryan Melrose; and the managing director of both Two Way Cranes and Ultra-Lift Cranes, Frank Zammit.
