Antitrust - Aldi produce suppliers - ACCC price-fixing allegations (Australia)

The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission has alleged in a civil lawsuit that four suppliers of fresh produce to Aldi supermarkets entered into, or attempted to enter into a price-fixing cartel. The companies named by the ACCC are Perfection Fresh Australia; Hydro Produce (Aust); Veli Velisha Fresh Produce and Velisha National Farms; and M. Fragapane & Sons. The individuals named are Velisha Director and Chief Executive Catherine Velisha, Senior Sales Manager Kaushik Vora, along with Fragapane General Sales Manager Roberto Nave. The Federal Court of Australian casefile number is: VID1143/2025.
