M&A - Viper Energy - Sitio Royalties

Midland, Texas-based Viper Energy has agreed to acquire Denver-based Sitio Royalties in an all-equity transaction valued at about $4.1 billion, including net debt of about $1.1 billion. Viper is traded on the Nasdaq, while Sitio is traded on the New York Stock Exchange. The transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of 2025.
