Antitrust - GoodRx - Caremark - Express Scripts - Pharmacies' litigation over alleged setting of prescription drug reimbursement rates (US)
GoodRx and four leading pharmacy benefit managers have been accused in a US complaint of conspiring to artificially suppress prescription drug reimbursement rates paid to independent pharmacies, and to increase fees charged to pharmacies, on all GoodRx-related transactions. According to the complaint, pharmacies’ reimbursement rates are set and determined by the GoodRx algorithm using real-time data through an “integrated savings program” agreed to by the companies.
