Trade - Data Privacy & Security - Zoom - Sanctions, export controls (US)

Zoom Video Communications revealed in its quarterly filings to the US Securities and Exchange Commission that it submitted certain reports and self-disclosures to the Commerce Department’s Bureau of Industry and Security and Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control regarding compliance with US sanctions and export control laws and regulations. Zoom said it "allowed our platform and associated products to be accessed or used by some customers in potential violation of U.S. economic sanction laws."
