Antitrust - Aetna - CVS - Express Scripts - Harris County, Texas action over price-fixing of diabetes treatments (US)
Eli Lilly, Novo Nordisk, Sanofi and the US's largest pharmacy benefit managers — Aetna Rx, CVS Caremark, Express Scripts and OptumRx — were sued by Harris County, Texas for allegedly fixing prices on insulin and other diabetic treatments. The suit, filed in Texas state court, accuses the companies of violating Texas's antitrust statute, and alleges commow law fraud and civil conspiracy.
