M&A - Boeing - Spirit AeroSystems

Boeing is acquiring supplier Spirit AeroSystems for $4.7 billion excluding net debt. Kansas-based Spirit AeroSystems manufactures airplane parts, including fuselages, wings and wing components. Spirit will also "continue to negotiate in good faith [with Airbus] to acquire certain Spirit assets that serve Airbus programs." The deal is expected to close in mid-2025.
