Technology - Regulation - European Media Freedom Act - Proposed rules for media sector (EU)

The European Commission wants to introduce the first ever EU-wide regulations of the entire media sector in order to prevent state interference in the press and protect editorial independence. The draft law would also require large online platforms to provide transparency in decisions to remove content posted by bona-fide media companies.
