Antitrust - Harvard - Princeton - Columbia - Litigation over alleged agreement to limit compensation to Ivy League student athletes (US)

Brown University, Columbia University, Cornell University, and the other five Ivy League schools were accused of engaging in an ongoing price-fixing agreement to not provide athletic scholarships to their Division I athletes and to not pay Ivy League athletes compensation. Two former college athletes filed a proposed US class action claiming that the alleged agreement raises the net price of education that Ivy League athletes pay and suppresses compensation for the athletic services they provide to the universities.
