M&A - Global Infrastructure Partners - Equis Energy (Asia)

Investment fund Global Infrastructure Partners is acquiring Singapore-based Equis Energy, the largest independent renewable energy power producer in Asia‐Pacific, with over 180 assets in the region, for $5 billion, including debt. The transaction, the largest renewable energy-generation acquisition in history, is subject to customary regulatory approvals and is expected to close in the first quarter of 2018.
