Antitrust - Coupang - KFTC probe into allegations of self-preferencing (South Korea)

South Korea's e-commerce giant Coupang is facing a probe by the Korea Fair Trade Commission, which accuses the company of manipulating user search results to favor its in-house brands. The regulator has recently delivered an examiners' report containing recommendations for potential sanctions. Following Coupang's response to the findings, the KFTC is expected to schedule a standing committee hearing.
