Corporate Europe Observatory - CEO - European Ombudsman - access to documents

The EU ombudsman has closed a complaint lodged against the European Commission by transparency campaign group Corporate Europe Observatory (CEO) for the Commission's refusal to grant access to minutes of a trade meeting held with lobbyists.

CEO filed an action to access the minutes in the lower-tier General Court, but the action was dismissed. A subsequent appeal to the Court of Justice was also dismissed.
