Corruption - 2021 OECD recommendations on combating bribery (Global)

The OECD released an updated set of recommendations for combating bribery of foreign officials to provide guidance to signatories of the 1997 OECD Anti-Bribery Convention. It augments a set of recommendations issued in 2009. The new recommendations include new sections on non-trial resolutions, sanctions and confiscation, protection for whistleblowers. It also includes encouragement to countries to address the solicitation of bribes by officials.
