TikTok, Snapchat and three Meta-owned platforms, Instagram, Facebook and Messenger, are being sued by the state of Nevada in state court over their allegedly addictive algorithms and the harms they've caused to young people. The lawsuits accuse the platforms of violating multiple state consumer protection and product liability laws.
