Antitrust litigation - U-Blox - Interdigital

In a suit filed in the Southern District of California, U-Blox, a provider of embedded positioning and wireless communication products, has sued Interdigital over claims that Interdigital refused to license its alleged standard essential patents, or SEPs, on fair, reasonable, and non-discriminatory terms. U-Blox alleged that by failing to license its SEPs on 2G, 3G, and/or 4G cellular technology on Frand terms, Interdigital violated Section 2 of the Sherman Act, and violated its contractual commitments to the European Telecommunications Standards Institute, or ETSI.
