Data Privacy & Security - US states - Meta - Individual AG lawsuits over social media harms to young users (US)

Meta Platforms is facing legal action from nine additional US attorneys general over the alleged harms of social media platforms to children and teens, all filed in connection to a separate complaint filed in the Northern District of California signed by 33 other attorneys general. The District of Columbia, Massachusetts, Mississippi, New Hampshire, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Utah, and Vermont filed individually in their respective state courts. Florida’s case was filed in Tampa at the US District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
