A proposed class action complaint has been filed against Bank of America, Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, and other banks accusing them of unreasonably restraining the trade of odd-lots of corporate bonds in the secondary market, resulting in plaintiffs paying more when buying and receiving less when selling their corporate bonds. The complaint claims the banks have colluded to charge economically unjustifiable prices for transactions and to keep out competition.
