Corruption - EY - Damages lawsuit by whistleblower Amjad Rihan (UK)

Big Four audit firm Ernst & Young has been sued for damages by former Dubai-based partner Amjad Rihan for breach of duty and conspiracy to injure. Rihan claims he was forced out after revealing suspicious activity at client Kaloti Group, a precious-metals company. EY denied liability. Rihan was awarded $11 million in damages on April 17, 2020, following a three-week trial.
