IT patent litigation - Unwired Planet - Apple

Unwired Planet has sued Apple, alleging that the iPhone, the iPod, Siri and many other Apple products infringe 10 patents. Unwired Planet claims to be one of the inventors of the mobile Internet, but divested its product line in 2012, and now has amassed more than $75 million to assert its intellectual property rights.
