US Enforcement - US Attorneys' Manual - DOJ, FCPA, corporate resolutions
The US Department of Justice has compiled a series of policies and practices in its US Attorneys' Manual. The manual provides guidance to all DOJ enforcement officials. Examples of the policies have included spelling out a presumption that DOJ will decline to prosecute self-reported Foreign Corrupt Practices Act violations absent aggravating factors and also a directive to coordinate with other agencies penalties assessed in corporate resolutions arising from the same misconduct.
