Regulation - Texas - NetChoice, CCIA's litigation over Texas content moderation law (US)

Two Washington, DC, tech industry associations are suing Texas in federal court over the state's recently enacted law regulating the content moderation practices of social media companies and filtering policies of email providers. NetChoice and the Computer and Communications Industry Association also teamed to sue Florida over a similar bill, winning a preliminary injunction. This new lawsuit seeks a declaratory ruling that the Texas law violates the First Amendment and an injunction against its enforcement.
