xAI loses bid to freeze Minnesota AI ‘nudify’ law during appeal

US District Judge Donovan W. Frank denied xAI’s request for an injunction pending appeal, standing by his earlier decision that the company waited too long to seek relief and failed to show it would suffer sufficient irreparable harm.xAI will have to take its fight to freeze Minnesota’s ban on AI-generated nude images to a US appeals court after a district court judge refused to block the law while the company challenges its constitutionality....
