China vows to protect companies after reported US humanoid-robot ban

Responding to a media inquiry about a reported US Federal Communications Commission ban on imports of humanoid robots on national-security grounds, spokesperson Mao Ning said protectionism would harm US companies and consumers rather than improve US competitiveness.
