UK consultation outcome previews wider online safety restrictions

Alongside a social media ban for under-16s — announced this morning and expected by spring 2027 — the consultation outcome includes further proposals on infinite scrolling, overnight curfews and digital age of consent, which are set to be detailed in July.Statement follows.
