Bartz class reports 91 percent claim rate in US Anthropic settlement

( April 16, 2026, 18:47 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex summary: Counsel for a US class led by thriller writer Andrea Bartz reported that they have submitted claims for the vast majority of written works identified in its $1.5 billion settlement with Anthropic for amassing pirated books. "At present, the Class has filed claims for 440,490 of the 482,460 Works on the Works List, reflecting a claims rate of 91.3%," the filing says. See file attached. ...
