Anthropic denied emergency stay of DoD supply chain risk designation

( April 8, 2026, 22:40 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: A three-judge panel of the US Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit has denied Anthropic's motion for an emergency stay of the Trump administration's designation of the company as a supply chain risk. "In our view, the equitable balance here cuts in favor of the government. On one side is a relatively contained risk of financial harm to a single private company. On the other side is judicial management of how, and through whom, the Department of War secures vital AI technology during an active military conflict," said a three-judge panel made up of US Circuit judges Karen LeCraft Henderson, Gregory G.
