OpenAI asks US judge to make X Corp., X.AI to produce documents in antitrust case

( April 3, 2026, 23:00 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: OpenAI has asked a US federal judge to compel X Corp. and X.AI to produce documents in an antitrust case where X has accused Apple and OpenAI of locking up markets to maintain monopolies. OpenAI asks the court to order the plaintiffs to search for and produce communications with investors or potential investors, documents concerning valuations or projections for xAI, documents concerning a Google-Apple agreement, and communications in Elon Musk's email and instant messaging accounts, as production of communications with investors would capture those relating to Grok, to the valuation of xAI in connection with the xAI and SpaceX merger, and to xAI's July 2025 and January 2026 capital raises, the filing in the Northern District of Texas said.See attached file....
