Vietnam releases draft guiding decree under AI law

( February 4, 2026, 05:58 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Vietnam’s Ministry of Science and Technology on Wednesday released a draft decree guiding the implementation of the country’s standalone AI law, less than a month before the law is set to come into force on March 1. The document details 16 articles of the law, with a focus on risk-based management of AI systems, AI labeling and the controlled-testing mechanisms for AI systems in the development stage.
