Bondi stands up AI Litigation Task Force at US DOJ

( January 9, 2026, 19:08 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: US Attorney General Pam Bondi has stood up an Artificial Intelligence Litigation Task Force at the US Department of Justice, which will seek to challenge state AI regulatory laws as unconstitutional. Bondi said in a letter that she will serve as Chair of the Task Force, while the Associate Attorney General will be the vice chair. "The Task Force will be further composed of representatives from the Office of the Deputy Attorney General, the Office of the Associate Attorney General, the Office of the Solicitor General, [and] the Civil Division," Bondi said.See attached document....
