South Korea pledges support for AI-applied humanoid, autonomous vehicle sectors

During a meeting with industry leaders at Hyundai Motor Co’s robotics laboratory, Economy and Finance Minister Koo Yun-cheol said the government was committed to supporting industries and research institutions through measures such as expanded R&D funding and the swift removal or easing of regulations, to help the private sector advance its capabilities in both sectors. For instance, Koo said the government will announce comprehensive plans this year to strengthen the competitiveness of the self-driving vehicle industry.The statements, in Korean, are attached....
