German data watchdogs propose concept to align EU’s GDPR and AI Act

The concept focuses on deployment of AI systems and key GDPR principles such as data minimization, legal bases, sensitive data and automated decision-making. The authors urge a shift from debating whether privacy laws hinder innovation to focusing on how to innovate responsibly.
