South Korea to enlarge strategic industry fund by 50% to $109bn

( September 10, 2025, 06:23 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: South Korea said it plans to establish a 150 trillion won ($109 billion) fund over the next five years to invest in artificial intelligence, semiconductor, biotech, robotics, future mobility and other strategic industries. The planned amount is 50 percent larger than the 100 trillion won initially announced.
