South Korea eyes special law to support AI data-center construction

Science and ICT Minister Bae Kyung-hoon made the remarks during a meeting with officials from the country’s major cloud service providers, including Kakao Corp, NHN Cloud and Naver Cloud. President Lee Jae Myung pledged during and after the early June election that his government would sharply increase support for the construction of data centers and the strengthening of AI infrastructure.
