( August 14, 2025, 22:31 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Authors bringing US copyright claims against Anthropic opposed an appeal on class certification, saying that the order does nothing groundbreaking. “The petition presents none of the fair-use and AI issues that defendant and its amici seek to press before this court. Those issues were resolved in the separate summary-judgment order, which has not been certified for interlocutory review.
