White House releases AI executive order on development of data centers

( July 23, 2025, 23:48 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: President Donald Trump has released an executive order aimed at reducing regulatory review of the use of federal land to develop AI data centers. "It will be a priority of my Administration to facilitate the rapid and efficient buildout of this infrastructure by easing Federal regulatory burdens," Trump said in the executive order. "In addition, my Administration will utilize federally owned land and resources for the expeditious and orderly development of data centers.  This usage will be done in a manner consistent with the land's intended purpose — to be used in service of the prosperity and security of the American people."
