Government's use of AI can boost access to medicines, New Zealand minister says

In a statement today, Regulation Minister and Associate Health Minister David Seymour said he has written to both Medsafe and Pharmac about adopting AI in their processes. The statement said that Seymour encouraged Medsafe, which assesses the safety and quality of medicines and medical devices, to use AI to speed up evaluations.
