Switzerland expresses interest in hosting 2027 global AI summit

( June 25, 2025, 10:23 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Switzerland’s Federal Council has expressed an interest in hosting the 2027 global artificial intelligence summit in Geneva. The series covers AI safety, fair access and societal and environmental issues. The next summit will be held in India in early 2026. Swiss authorities are in contact with their Indian counterparts to discuss procedural steps to announce it officially in the summit series, they confirmed to MLex.
