The Financial Security Institute said in a statement that it released the report on its website to raise awareness about the growing cyberthreats linked to agentic AI tools, such as the hijacking of agentic functions or the contamination of tools used by the agents. Unlike more commonly known large language models, which are primarily designed to provide information to support human judgment and decision-making, AI agents can independently perform necessary actions using various external tools.
