Judge casts doubt on Flexport's US trade secrets claim against AI rival

At a hearing on Freightmate AI’s motion to dismiss the case, US District Judge Rita Lin said Flexport may need to better spell out how its data was allegedly misused.Global logistics firm Flexport has accused two former employees of secretly conspiring to establish a competing AI venture using stolen proprietary data. But proving these allegations will be difficult. At a hearing today, where defendant Freightmate AI is looking to get Flexport’s trade secrets misappropriation lawsuit dismissed, US District Judge Rita Lin said she's struggling to determine whether Freightmate’s founders actually ended up using that information....
