London pushes AI tools to devolved UK governments to speed up planning, permits

The meeting comes as 25 local councils trial the AI tools developed by the central government which is adding new tools to its “Humphrey” suite. Councils are using the AI tools to accelerate bureaucracy, particularly in handling planning permission requests for new buildings. A new AI Knowledge Hub was published today for councils to learn how others use the tech.
