Overall trust in AI has remained steady among adults, but has fallen among those who actually use it. The government is hoping that increased adoption of AI will lead to economic growth.Awareness and use of AI has continued to grow in the UK with twice as many people using generative AI such as Microsoft Copilot at work in 2024 compared to the previous year, the latest annual study by the media, communications and online safety regulator Ofcom found.
