Realpage files reply supporting dismissal of US DOJ's antitrust claims

( March 11, 2025, 22:32 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Realpage told a US federal judge that the US Department of Justice's arguments opposing dismissal of its price-fixing and monopolization claims fail to plausibly plead anticompetitive effects in any well-defined relevant markets; fails to plead that Realpage holds specific market shares above 30 percent; and that Realpage did anything to exclude its competitors from doing business. Realpage said in its reply supporting dismissal, filed to the Middle District of North Carolina, that the DOJ's market definition and monopoly power allegations are implausibly narrow and contradictory, as they selectively exclude millions of rental units for which Realpage allegedly collects benchmarking data.See attached document:...
