( November 6, 2026, 01:13 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: US chemical exporters will continue to face Chinese countervailing duties on imports of n-propanol for another five years from Friday, China's Ministry of Commerce said in a notice. The decision follows an end-of-term review that found ending the measures would likely lead to the continuation or recurrence of subsidies and injury to the domestic industry. The duties, first imposed in November 2020, will remain unchanged at 34.2 percent for OQ Chemicals, and 37.7 percent for Dow Chemical and all other US producers. NPA is widely used in food packaging, pharmaceuticals, lithium-ion batteries, coatings and cosmetics.Statement follows (in Chinese). ...
