Linfox Armaguard faces cash supply order from Australian watchdog

( November 5, 2026, 00:21 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Linfox Armaguard was ordered by the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission on Thursday to continue providing cash transport services and access to cash centers until June 30, 2027 to help prevent disruptions to cash availability as the industry faces declining cash use. The interim direction preserves existing service arrangements and sets caps on price increases, with larger customers allowed higher rises than smaller customers, while also preventing Armaguard from favoring its own operations. The regulator said the intervention is intended as a short-term measure to balance Armaguard's financial viability with continued access to cash, while it develops longer-term rules for the cash distribution system.Statement follows.
