PVDF imports from India, China, Japan face EU dumping probe
( October 28, 2026, 08:19 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Imports of polyvinylidene fluoride from India, China and Japan face an EU antidumping investigation, the European Commission said on Wednesday. This follows a complaint lodged on Sept. 14 alleging that dumped imports of PVDF — a thermoplastic — have gained market share and harmed EU producers’ sales, prices and financial performance. The complaint also warns that spare and expanding production capacity in those three countries could drive a further surge in imports. The investigation will cover July 2025 to June 2026, with provisional duties possible within eight months and a final outcome due within 14 months. The statement is attached....
