Hims & Hers says users consented to health data sharing, moves to dismiss US FTC claims

( October 22, 2026, 19:08 GMT | Official Statement) --  MLex Summary: Hims & Hers Health moved to dismiss the US Federal Trade Commission's claims that it illegally shared consumers' health information with third-party advertising platforms, pointing the court to its privacy policy. H&H said every visitor to its platform is directed to the policy, which consumers must acknowledge when creating an account. "That judicially noticeable policy expressly discloses that H&H 'may provide personal information to marketing and advertising partners,' including 'sensitive information' concerning activity on the platform," it said.
