Indonesian auto marketplaces sign behavioral commitments in antitrust case

( October 16, 2026, 08:33 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Three Indonesian online auto marketplaces have formally signed behavioral commitments in an antitrust case involving discriminatory advertising practices, the country's competition regulator said Friday. PT Mobil Satu Asia, PT Car Classifieds Indonesia and PT Car Some Indonesia signed the agreements Thursday, accepting the allegations against them and committing to provide equal access to advertising services for online and offline car dealers. The Indonesian Competition Commission, or KPPU, will monitor compliance for up to 60 working days from Oct. 15. The regulator will close the case if the commitments are fulfilled but could resume proceedings and impose penalties if the companies fail to comply.
