( October 16, 2026, 09:53 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: A 2025 regulation imposing a definitive safeguard measure on imports of certain ferroalloys has been amended to correct Malaysia's 2022 import volume and increase its in-quota volume, the European Commission said Friday. The correct value to calculate Malaysia's specific tariff-rate quota should have been 41,279.3 tons instead of 581 tons.
